Egyptian spearmint is cultivated in prime Nile Delta growing areas and harvested at peak essential oil content to deliver its characteristically mild, sweet mint profile. With naturally high carvone and lower menthol than peppermint, it is the preferred mint variety for beverages, chewing gum, oral care products and Middle Eastern culinary use.
